This raucous festival was first held during OpSail 2000 to celebrate Hampton's maritime heritage and relationship with the notorious menace, Blackbeard-aka Edward Teach. Living history and family fun go hand-in-hand as Hampton reenacts and celebrates the demise of Blackbeard, one of the fiercest pirates ever known. Immerse yourself in the early 1700s in Hampton with live entertainment, pirate encampment, children's activities, sea battles, fireworks, and more. Admission Fee: Pirate's Ball requires ticket

Looking for something fun to do this weekend...

Busch Gardens will offer $30 single-day admission on select dates in May and June..

The park posted to Facebook that the 60-percent off tickets are in limited supply. The promotion runs through the food and wine festival at the theme park, and are valid after 2 p.m.

Dates are: May 22, 25, 29 and 31; June 5, 7. 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28.
