We would like to again thank the local fire departments for helping put out the fire. We are especially keeping the firefighter who was injured in our prayers and are wishing them a smooth and quick recovery. We are very grateful there were no other injuries.

Another very special thank you to Streeval Auto Body & Frame and Reffitt's Garage & Towing Service, Auto Body Repair, LLC. You truly came to the rescue… towing vehicles, helping with cleanup, and showing up when we needed it most. We appreciate everything you’ve done for us more than we can put into words.

We are heartbroken to lose the original Rice Auto Body building, along with so many memories made there over the years. That building meant a lot to our family and our history. However, we were able to open two of our back buildings in a short period of time, and thankfully our paint shop was not impacted by the fire. Because of that, we are grateful to say that we are back to business!!

Although the front of the shop does not look open, we are open! The office is located in the house at the front left side of the front lot and we are working out of the back buildings.

We are truly overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity from our community, customers, and friends. The prayers, messages, help, and encouragement have meant everything to us during this difficult time. Thank you for supporting us.

Rice Auto Body experienced a fire today. We are incredibly grateful that everyone is safe. After 55 years in business, this is a tough day for our family and friends who are like our family. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, stopped by, and supported us in this moment. Many people showed up today without even being asked to help us in the most crucial moment. We are truly thankful for our community.

Not all buildings were destroyed, 2 of 5 buildings were damaged. We are going to regroup, rebuild, stay strong and keep doing what we love… building and fixing cars!
