This lovely 3-year-old grey and white tabby recently made her way to Animal Adoption Foundation after being transferred from another shelter. But don’t let her past fool you—Violet is ready to plant herself right into a forever home where she can truly flourish.

True to her name, Violet is a gentle little flower with a whole lot of love to give. She’s an expert lap cat, happiest when she’s curled up close, soaking in all the affection she can get. Chin rubs? Absolute favorite. Attention? Yes, please—she’ll take as much as you’re willing to give (and maybe a little more).

Hello feline fanciers and welcome to this week’s edition of the Animal Adoption Foundation Saturday Cat Post. And boy oh boy, do we have a special guy to present to you! And when I say special, I mean it! Meet special agent Gibbs!

Our Gibbs is a grey, four-year-old, long-haired male who was an owner surrender. He is named after the fictional character Leroy Jethro Gibbs from the NCIS TV series. Gibbs is a big, handsome, boy, weighing in at around 19 pounds! Although it’s not been confirmed, the shelter staff strongly suspects that he is at least part Maine C**n. But don’t let his size intimidate you, because Gibbs is your friend the minute he meets you! This boy is incredibly easy going and loves attention, soft blankets, wet food, and cat nip.

Gibbs is ready to give up his special agent job, but there is one last mystery he has to solve, and he won’t quit until it’s “case closed”. That case is to find a partner who will provide him with a forever home! Once he’s tracked that person down then special feline agent Gibbs can hand in his badge and settle down to a life of companionship and affection.
