We recommend applying limestone to your lawn every other year. We use an application of Enhanced Calcitic Lime call SOLU-CAL. Solu-Cal is 4x the power of lime. It works faster and more efficiently than normal limestone. It raises soil's PH in weeks rather than months as compared to pelletized Lime.

Why Calcium?

-For the soil: Calcium is a primary nutrient in maintaining the proper PH. It improves soil structure while reducing compaction. Calcium creates a better environment for the proliferation of beneficial bacteria.

-For the plants: Calcium is a vital constituent of cell walls within the plant. Strong cell walls significantly reduce disease and insect pressure and damage.
