*** Generally-speaking, based on some non-recent news reports, we know that women generally outlive men, and wives outlive husbands (possibly d_e to lower stress). However, do men age more gracefully than women? Please consider the following three recent posts (and, for brevity, their links are added with the photos):

Post # 1,078/23 (with some exaggeration) Yesterday, we heard the news that the preeminent TV producer, Norman Lear (RIP) (e.g., "All in the family") had passed on at the ripe age of 101; and about a week earlier, or so, Henry Kissinger passed on at the age of 100. As far as I can tell, both gentlemen appeared active and lucid to their last days. Moreover, the Rolling Stones are in a tour, possibly around the world, as I understand it, and they're in their 70s- and so is Sir Paul McCartney, the former Beatle (if I'm correct). They all look fit and healthy in the shared photo, and Let's hope we age as gracefully and as long as all of them.

(added @ 2:42 am on Thursday 12/14/23, minutes before publishing this post): Unintentionally, I failed to mention in the above post that our late benevolent First Lady, Rosalyn Carter (RIP) passed on on November 19, or 19 days before publishing the above post at the ripe age of 96, according to Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosalynn_Cartert
