Ten years ago today, Chef Bill Van Pelt opened the doors of James on Main and helped reshape Hackettstown’s dining landscape.

People have often asked us, “Why Hackettstown?” The answer has always been simple: this is our home.

We’re surrounded by incredible farmers and producers who represent the very best of New Jersey, and they help bring our kitchen to life every day.

Today, we celebrate with gratitude. For the early teams who helped build James on Main. For the many people who have walked through our doors and left their mark. For the team we have today, whose care and dedication continue to move us forward.

To our extended family of guests and friends, thank you for celebrating, gathering, and creating memories with us over the years. Sharing our table with you has been a privilege.
