Genuine.

Books have always given me a great sense of peace. I’m not sure if it’s because I admire the courage it takes for someone to dump all the words that crowd their heads onto paper. allowing complete strangers their private world. Or that while deep in their thoughts, I don’t have to hear the words in mine.

I remember in my adolescence I would ask my friends, “give me a topic to write about.” It would be about ANYTHING. I’d be random about it. Pick a friend in my phone book or AOL instant messenger and just ask. Didn’t matter the time. I needed a mental dump. I didn’t care. I needed distractions. My thoughts have always been so loud. They continue to scream today. •I think, this is the summer I become courageous.
