How Often Should I Visit The Dentist?

If otherwise healthy, visiting for a regular check-up twice a year is recommended to both prevent and check for early signs of oral health problems. However, if you have a condition that needs to be monitored more frequently such as gum disease or orthodontic treatment, your dentist may advise you to see them more than twice a year.

What Is A Cavity?
Decay on the surface of teeth caused by bacteria and acidic foods and beverages results in a cavity which can be an opening or a hole. It is reversible if caught in the early stages where it is only on the enamel of the tooth but is irreversible if the decay reaches deeper on the tooth.
