Tortilla came to us the way so many of our cats do, wandering the streets of Hudson County with no one to look out for her. We took her in, got her fully vetted, and quickly learned what a gem she is. This 8 year old tortie girl loves nothing more than a good head scratch and a sunny windowsill to lounge in. She is pure sweetness.

What Tortilla needed most was dental care. After her exam, we found she had severe periodontal disease and needed multiple extractions. She came through her procedure and is now recovering at home with her foster, eating soft food and resting up.

Dental work is one of the most common and most expensive needs we see in cats who spent time on the streets, years without care add up fast. Tortilla's dental came to $700, and every dollar goes directly toward getting her healthy and ready for her forever home.

We found Squishy lying under a car in a puddle of water. He was in the middle of a heatstroke and in rough shape. We got him to the vet, got him stabilized, and watched this old man pull through like the tough guy he clearly is.

Turns out he's also incredibly sweet 😍.
Squishy is a long haired senior gentleman who now deserves a soft couch and someone who actually wants him there. He's been through enough. We'd love to see him spend whatever years he has left being properly spoiled.
