Last night was amazing at True Neutral.
Warhammer 40K battles, Magic: The Gathering games firing on all cylinders, minis being painted and assembled, and people even bringing their own games just to spend quality time together at the shop. That’s not an accident—that’s the environment we’ve worked hard to cultivate.
First and foremost, there is True Neutral culture. We stand for something: fun, creativity, and community. When we talk about what True Neutral is and what we stand for, we put our money where our mouth is. This isn’t hollow talk—we deliver, and we genuinely care.
Yes, we sell the things that rightfully belong to nerd and geekdom culture—but we do it so we can provide Gurnee, Waukegan, and the greater area with something bigger: a place where everyone belongs and everyone is welcome.
We haven’t even been open for a year yet, and the enthusiasm, creativity, and trust you’ve brought through our doors has been truly humbling. To everyone who’s played here, painted here, laughed here, shared stories here, and helped build this space into what it’s becoming—thank you.
