What a blessing to welcome Doug Piper and Paulette Piper back to Crosspoint Church this weekend!

During a Taste of Thai event, Doug and Paulette shared an encouraging update on how God is already opening doors in Phayao, Thailand — connecting them with key relationships, local leaders, and resources as they prepare to launch a new English language school and plant a church in this unreached area. Their vision is to use English education as a bridge to build relationships and share the hope of Jesus with the people of Thailand.

The Pipers’ journey began through Crosspoint mission trips to Thailand in 2016, and after years of prayer and preparation, they followed God’s call to move there full-time in 2023. Doug previously served for more than 14 years as Executive Pastor at Crosspoint before he and Paulette stepped out in faith to begin this new ministry assignment. They have spent the last two years serving with Northern Thailand Impact Ministry while learning the language and culture.

Please continue praying for Doug and Paulette as they build relationships, that prepare for the opening of the school, and work toward planting what would become the first Baptist church in the province of Phayao. We are grateful to be part of what God is doing around the world!
