Evelyn Surprenant entered this world on 9/19/1919 prepared to work and provide this world with as many decent humans as God granted her. She fell in love, made 4 babies and loved them. Then those babies had babies, she loved them also. Then those babies had babies. I’d say this woman was successful at life.

Gram: “I am not of any use anymore”
Me: “Gram, how we provide value to our family and the world changes. Yeah Gram, I think the value of your factory work days has passed BUT you believe in God, yes?
Gram: yes!
Me: “Do you think praying is important”
Gram: YES!
Me: Do you pray for all your children?
Gram: of course, ALL day!
Me: So you work hard thinking and praying thoughtfully about all your children, all day. Could you do that when you were working?
Gram: No, couldn’t, too busy driving and figuring out life.
Me: So you have changed with how you provide value to this world BUT you absolutely are still putting in shifts at “work” for your family and the people THEY affect. Looks like you are working harder now than you ever have and with very few bodily resources left, still you fight, advocate for and promote your babies.
