Alana finally had her calf. A bull. She had problems with the birth and I had to call in the experts. John and Judy, you are the best! Learned a lot on this experience. Like how to reach inside and straighten a front leg that was folded over and was preventing the birth and how to use chains to pull the calf out. Now I didn't do this myself but watched John so now I'm suppose to know what to do next time this happens. Happened about 8:30 last night and by 6:00 am the little bastard was out of the pasture and hung up in a brush pile.
