Employer: Tollgate Estates, a 100+ townhome rental community
Pay: Starting at $18/hr, based on experience
Hours: Part Time, 20-30 hours/week

Description:
We are a family owned business looking for a part-time handyman / maintenance worker with a wide range of skills, able to do: drywall, light plumbing, light electrical, and various maintenance repairs. You'll need reliable transportation and your own basic tools of the trade. Our current guy is looking to retire soon. You'll work with him for a few weeks or so to get your footing, and then will largely be on your own.

Examples of tasks include:
1. Filling in small holes in walls (and the occasional big one) caused by nails and normal wear and tear
2. Making minor paint touch-ups after repairing damage to walls, with the occasional new coat of paint in the mix (not common as we do have a painter)
3. Replacing or installing faucets, pipes, sink vanities, toilets, dishwashers, etc.
4. Repair, replacement or installation of light switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights and fans, etc.
5. A professional and kind attitude towards residents

Hopefully that paints a good picture. You would not be responsible for major projects (for example, a full bathroom remodel, or replacing a water heater) - just the run of the mill, everyday stuff.
