Tomorrow night at 7pmCT Ragtag Cinemas in Columbia, MO is showing Judas and the Black Messiah. Afterwards Dr. Stephen Graves will be taking part in a post-film roundtable and Q&A. If you're in the area you DEFINITELY want to check this out!

Join us on July 22nd at 7 pm when ROCK the Community kicks off the Show Me Series with a free screening of Judas and the Black Messiah, followed by a post-film conversation with Rodney March (Assistant Director, ROCK the Community) and Dr. Stephen Graves (Assistant Professor, Department of Black Studies, Director of Undergraduate Studies at MU). It'll be moderated by our very own Josh Runnels, Manager of Community Partnerships & Education! https://ragtagcinema.org/films/1970

The Show Me Series is a nod to our long-established proclivity as Missourians to approach new things with a hint of skepticism (until we see it for ourselves, of course). As well, a challenge to show our community all the possibilities shared experiences with film can hold — and the potential to serve as a catalyst for conversations that can move our collective pendulum closer to equity, inclusion, and unity.
