Cheers to whimsy, friends. Not going to lie - I randomly sip coffee and try to dream up new ways to collaborate with at again because our last project didn't work out, and she's a true kindred spirit to my creative self. ALL of her stuff is amazing. If you have kiddos and need an updated photo shoot, she's your person. 💖

Also, a bike 🚲 is not practical for my cart set-up, but if it were...this bad boy would be in my set-up 100% of the time.

It was our 2nd Birthday last week!! PosieWild officially started Mother's Day week 2024. I view PosieWild as a love letter to little Pamela (in the second picture), often referred to as 'Pammy'. And I was as whimsical sounding as that nickname. 🤣

My mom bought me a pair of pink plastic heels for my 4th or 5th birthday and I wore them everywhere for days, through the blisters. I loved everything girly, pink, plush and dreamy. ✨ To those who have always known me, PosieWild is no surprise, just a returning to this girl. 🩷

THANK YOU for every minute here. It's a pouring out of myself and even when it's exhausting, I feel alive and happy. 🩷💖 Jesus knew. 🥰

When I decided to start PosieWild, Ashley from was the very first person I called. She had already started her small business and I had a great opportunity but was terrified. I had passed the flower cart at then Scandi (now Flying Fox) so many times and dreamed about showing up one day with flowers. So, it was a God thing when I called her and asked if she would come do it with me on short notice. She said YES! and said also had an amazing business and thought we would all complement each other well. She Was Right!!

These two friends are not only amazing at what they do, but they are the absolute best to work alongside. From protein bars and snacks to lunch being provided, them helping me build mini bouquets because I was behind, helping me carry loads of flowers back and forth, or work in their kitchen until 1am when I had a boil water advisory this week, this trio is a true partnership and I can't thank God enough that it was these two I got to start this business alongside for the very first time and get to hang out with and share in successes together still today. 🥰♥️

So so thankful for many things this week but they are definitely one of them! And I'd be remiss if I didn't share just how phenomenal the transition was to .coffee and how I'll be forever fans of them!! What an amazing two days. Thank you!! ♥️

Maintaining beauty in a world that's hard is...hard, but it's also important. This journey is much less about a 'sale', although of course that is important to any business, and much more about bringing what God already made to the surface; reminding (myself mostly) that He enjoys all these things - He was the first Creator of beauty and I just behold it and bring it into the sun as a reminder of the joy it brings. ☀️ And that...is much more of the eternal work my soul needs, even if I'm really tired (and I am), I'm also heart full; filled to the brim with awe and challenge, purpose and contentment.💐 I've been challenged to trust God so many times this week already - will the rain come? Will the sun come? Will the flowers bloom? Will they stay alive for me through cutting, transporting, time, etc?

So, I'm here, doing what nature itself does, waiting for the sun and the warmth and not rushing. I want to push myself so hard sometimes but competing is not my lesson this time - my lesson is waiting and trusting.

I told someone today that I had the PosieWild logo years before I ever did anything. 8 years. So, pictures like this - it's not just in a day's work. It's years of wrong directions, learning, grieving, growing, waiting and finally, finally, being who God made me from the very beginning. Letting her out but this time, trusting Him to lead. Anywhere.

I'm glad it was here. Today. Like this. 🥰 If I meet you somewhere along this journey, I believe it was meant to be - either for you or for me. You see, I wasn't supposed to be here. I worked endlessly actually to be anywhere but where God called me and to live creatively with the gift He gave me, so it's no accident I'm here, living these moments. Probably to sing His praises, so I sing them. 🎶 Holy is the Lamb, who loved me enough to die, and loves me still, endlessly and everyday. ♥️
