Blue Ridge Middle Bands

Congrats to BOTH the 6th Grade and 7th Grade BRMS Bands for 2 SUPERIOR Performances at the Carowinds Festival of Music! The students (and their director…) had a blast riding all of the roller coasters and making music and memories with each other. Go Band!!

Attention Parents of Rising 6th Graders!

We are getting closer to our “Instrument Testing Night” for our next year’s newest Band Students! Make plans to join us after school on Thursday, April 9th from 4:00 - 7:00 in the BRMS Gymnasium!

Students will have the chance to try ALL of the Band instruments, and we will decide what instrument they are going to play next year!

We are so excited for this event, would you please help us out and SHARE this post with anybody you know who has a Rising 6th Grade Band Kid??

Congratulations to these OUTSTANDING students who went above and beyond during our Spring Honor Band Audition processes! We are so proud of every student who auditioned for these groups; this is the BEST way to develop your individual musicianship. Congratulations!

It’s time for another concert! Join us next Tuesday, December 16th for the Blue Ridge Middle School Band’s December “Holiday” Concert! 6th Graders will perform at 6:00, and 7th/8th Graders will perform at 7:00 in the Blue Ridge Middle School Auditorium!!

Middle School Marching Band Night is TONIGHT for 7th and 8th Graders!!! Students need to be dropped off in the BRHS Bus Loop (on the right side of the school) between 5:30 and 6:00. Look for Mr. Gessner’s red shirt!! Pickup in the bus loop between 9:45 and 10:15. Looking forward to an AWESOME day! Parents, check your email and backpack notifications for more updates.
