2 of 3 pieces on view at the in the 22 South Carolinians exhibition. An impromptu painting, but my work often imitates my life and this definitely wasn’t planned. Maybe it was by something above me but I don’t make the plans I just trust the path! Life fast, never die!!

Big blue hearts to those who pulled up to the opening reception for 22 South Carolinians! This is a very big milestone for me as an artist and also an amazing personal accolade as a native of Columbia, I probably didn’t even visit the museum of art until I was like 20 so to have work in there is just awesome, it is also a sign for change.

It was very humbling being in the presence of my peers and powerhouses of my craft but I think I fit right in! Better yet I bring myself to the table, bringing something new to the game is what I’m about so I love believing that my work separates itself! I stand on the shoulders of those before me and I see how far we can take this!
