I’ve been keeping a secret. And now I can share it with you all.

Last year I was accepted into the Master of Accounting program at UNC-Chapel Hill. After the first semester I realized the focus to be too narrow for the work that I ultimately want to do.

Long story short, I prayed about my next move and decided to apply to Penn State to work on a Doctorate of Business Administration. Not only was I accepted into the program, I was offered a significant scholarship and I received the formal
scholarship notice this week.

My studies will be focused on creating tools and assessments for organizations that focus on the intersection of culture and performance.

I am more than excited. I am blessed.

I’ll be on campus for orientation in August so y’all pray for Kennedy’s daddy because he has to move her back on campus by himself with ALLLLL her stuff 🤣

I proudly created a valuable tool six years ago, empowering organizations to strategically elevate their management game! The GroundWork Assessment is now officially registered in the US Copyright Office!

It’s been a long 3 days but I met some really impressive people and learned a ton. I’m now a certified consultant with the Standards for Excellence Institute®, a national initiative established to promote the highest standards of ethics, effectiveness, and accountability in nonprofit governance, management, and operations, and to help all nonprofit organizations meet these high benchmarks.

How do you change culture? We believe that "culture is systemic and must be changed systematically!" This is our favorite quote from our CEO Miriam Dicks.
