That’s how the Waldrum family is spending part of Cousins Camp as they celebrate family and our country’s 250th birthday.

Before the cousins got all the attention, the aunts had one request: “First, we’re going to give back.”

Together, they decorated grocery sacks with Scripture, encouragement, and colorful artwork. Next they will work to fill those bags with groceries for neighbors who need a little extra help.

What a beautiful reminder that serving others is a family tradition worth passing down.

Thank you, Waldrum family, for showing these young people that one of the best ways to celebrate our freedom is by using it to love our neighbors.
