We bought a house with land in 2021 and have been working slowly on turning it into a farm. As of 2022, we are also first time parents trying to juggle parenthood and figuring out how farming works for us and our family. Pampering our pepper plants with shade in hopes they will survive and give us peppers this year! We already have radishes, leaf lettuce, and green beans popping up which were planted only 6 days ago!

Made some yummy sourdough banana blueberry muffins tonight! Everyone loved them! Matt says it’s his favorite sourdough thing I’ve made so far and maybe i should think about selling them.
I even used the “hack” i saw someone do where to get both tins to fit in my oven, i set the one inside part of the other.

Leftover turkey went into turkey soup with sourdough dumplings for dinner tonight! Yum!

Roasting our first ever turkey together! It fit perfectly into our stainless steel roasting pan with the lid on too - no need for an oven bag! This is good news if we end up raising Jersey Giant Chickens 😊
