La Asociación de Mexicanos en Carolina del Norte, Inc. (AMEXCAN) y el grupo de baile Folklórico “Descendencia Mexicana”, les hacen una cordial invitación a nuestra Reunión Comunitaria, la cual se llevará a cabo de manera presencial en la Iglesia Católica de St. Mary of the Angeles en el 3262 US-117 bypass, Mount Olive, NC 28365, el lunes 4 de diciembre del 2023, de 5:00 a 7:00 p. m.
En esta Reunión Comunitaria, les compartiremos información acerca de los Programas que AMEXCAN ofrece y de nuestros Próximos Eventos Comunitarios, asimismo, se tratará el tema sobre cómo podemos formar el capítulo de AMEXCAN- Duplin. Dear Community Members and Partners,
The Association of Mexicans in North Carolina, Inc. (AMEXCAN) is inviting you to participate in our next NC Latino COVID-19 Task Force Meeting. It will take place on Monday August 22, 2022, at 11 AM. Zoom information is available below.
Join us every Monday at 11 am as we continue to strategize and collaborate in recovering from COVID-19 in the Latino community. In collaboration with local health departments, community partners, and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, we continue to build our collaboration across North Carolina as well as discuss and plan our ongoing efforts to share the resources that are available for the community. These meetings are scheduled to effectively coordinate our task force and will continue for months to come. The purpose and goals for the task force are the following:
● Purpose: Prevent further spread of the COVID-19 virus, increase awareness in the Latino community across North Carolina and plan for recovery.
● Goals:
○ To intensively collaborate with NCDHHS, health departments, community partners, and community members to educate the community on resources and up to date news available.
○ To be specific in our participation in the community and the task force in the efforts of recovery.
○ To engage in our role as leaders and have consistency in our work.
