Huston Wells Racing

Round 8 & Round 9 was combined yesterday for a full day of racing! It was a good day!
For the first Main, after running in 7th, I spun on my own which sent me to the back. I managed to drive up from 18th to finish in 9th! For the second Main, I started in 7th and finished 6th. I’m always happy to cross the finish line. These races are tough, but I feel like I am learning every time I am on track.

So great having some of my family (and top fans!) from Virginia watching me this week! Thank you Uncle Brad, Aunt Neecie & Mason for encouraging me and cheering me on through the good and the bad!

Round 5 & 6 were a double-header this week at the Shootout. Round 5 on Monday was another frustrating round - more trouble with my fuel pump - so AGAIN was not able to finish the race. Our team worked so hard to get the car ready for Round 6 tonight - I was able to have valuable practice rounds this afternoon, learning as much as I can - ready to go at it again tonight.
I made huge strides tonight - and FINALLY finished the race! Ended with an 8th place finish… just so glad I made it to the end.
