“The entryway monuments at Delta Park serve as welcoming landmarks for visitors. Their circular design incorporates seating, encouraging conversation and providing a spot to rest while others enjoy the park. The mural painted on both pillars begins with the Delta name, crafted with a diverse set of letters, including a popsicle (paleta) for the letter T, inspired by the book “What happened to my paletas!?” The story behind the artwork reflects the changing seasons and celebrates outdoor play. Additionally, sculptural elements within the mural focus on the moon and sun, with the sun shown rising in the east and setting in the west. “
