Jackson Elementary School has it's very own food pantry! We have fresh and frozen products, meats, cheese, canned goods and more! Come one and come all! We would love to supply dinner for you AT NO COST TO YOU! Our food pantry is open every weekday from 8am-3:00pm. Pleae call our office for an appointment at 970-348-1500 or stop by anytime during pantry hours!

Congratulations to our Health Nut of the Month, Sylvia Maldonado from Jackson Elementary School!!

Here is what her nominator had to say:
"Miss Sylvia is such a health conscious colleague. Our students have the opportunity to participate in an optional running club over the past few years, and she has participated as a staff member over the past two years. She walks laps around the school during her break and keeps track of her miles on her Saints in Motion card. When presented with treats and other unhealthy foods, she kindly declines and says she would love to have some, but better not. She preps her breakfasts and lunches daily with very health conscious items, including healthy proteins and fruits and vegetables. She doesn't do it as a fad diet or a phase. She is consistent and a great example in the workplace for all of us. There's no better candidate in my book for Health Nut of the Month than Miss Sylvia!"
