The Colorado Grit of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Alex German has committed to play NCAA Division 3 hockey for Utica College.

German a ‘04 defense from Colorado Springs, CO finished up his second season with the Grit. German - the first captain in team history had an outstanding 24/25 season finishing with 11 goals and 16 assists. German is the all-time franchise leaders in goals & points for a defenseman.

Head Coach Gary Heenan had this to say "We are excited to welcome Alex to the Pioneer family. He brings good size, experience and offensive flair."

The Colorado Grit of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward George Poirier has committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey for Brown University.

Poirier a ‘05 forward from Arvada, CO finished up his second season with the Grit. Poirier has had an outstanding 24/25 season finishing with 26 goals and 20 assists.

Poirier stated this on his commitment “I’d like to thank the Grit organization for everything they have done for me. They have had a massive role in my development, working towards this goal of mine. Thank you to all of the staff, and my teammates for helping me in my journey.”
