The Carter County Soil Conservation District was organized and voted into exsistences as a District in 1948. The District is responsible for the overall Soil and Water Conservation Program as set-forthby the Kentucky State Law K.R.S. 262.200. Each supervisor is elected to a four year term. The board consists of a Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary/Treasurer and the four additional members. The board has
