A major road construction project will begin soon. Please read the announcement from Special Projects City of Grants. The road construction will impact travel on Nimitz Ave. and surrounding streets.
🚧 Road Closure Notice 🚧
Beginning February 16, 2026, Nimitz Avenue will be closed to through traffic from E. Sage to Clovis due to road construction activities.
Estimated construction timeline 180 calendar days.
🚫 Access will be restricted to local residents
🚑 Emergency vehicle access will be maintained
➡️ Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and plan accordingly.
