Advanced Business Planning Panel : Taxes and Succession

Jake “No-Socks, No-Problem” Bauer and members of the Ad Strat team — Melissa Smith-White, Tim Lux, Ben Stout, and Andrew Gosney — closed out Day Two of Elevate 2026 with a conversation on advanced business planning, taxes, and succession.

The discussion centered on a simple point: business owners usually have more planning needs than the personal portfolio shows.

The panel touched on ways advisors can support those clients through retirement plan design, executive benefits, succession planning, exit strategy, and business continuity.

And with that, Day Two is a wrap.

Now, we’re on to karaoke 🎤

Markets, Momentum, and the Message Advisors Need Now 🚀

Neil Peplinski, Portfolio Manager, joined Jake Bauer and Yash Patel from the Kingsview Investment Management team for a mid-year look at the economy, markets, and the headlines clients are hearing every day.

Stocks have shown strength this year, led by earnings, AI investment, and broad sector participation. At the same time, inflation pressure, rising yields, global conflict, and uneven consumer strength are giving investors plenty to worry about.

A market with momentum. And plenty of noise.

The update also highlighted momentum inside Kingsview Investment Management.

KIM crossed $2.7 billion with Monarch Funds passing $1 billion in its first five years.

Impressive 🔥

Those results are the kind of things worth building on.

The Experience Is the Standard 👑

Misty House, Chief Experience Officer, took the stage with a simple idea that hit hard:

Growth means very little when the experience starts to feel ordinary.

As Kingsview scales, it is critical to make sure every person who interacts with the firm feels the difference.

Under Misty’s leadership, she’s taken on this initiative by introducing the Experience Compass. It is a framework for how teams communicate, follow through, collaborate, solve problems, and show up for each other.

All built on trust and connection.

Because the client experience starts long before the client ever walks into the room.

It starts internally.
