So how does Full Circle Floral work anyways?

Since there isn’t another business in central Ohio (that I know of) that turns event flowers into donations for local nonprofits (mostly gardens, but I’m always open to supporting other causes that a couple/family cares about), explaining FCF can be a tongue twister. So, I spent my son’s naptime today making these graphics that are hopefully helpful in explaining the process. I’m no graphic designer, but I love me some 🎨

One thing I left out of the graphic (due to space constraints, and Wesley woke up from his nap), is the fact that the flower repurposing/donating piece is only possible because of the pressed frame side of the business.

Essentially, I don’t bring in any profit from the flower donations (and I don’t want to!), so the flower preservation piece helps me compensate myself for time spent repurposing and reselling event flowers. My 2024 goal is to turn Full Circle Floral into a nonprofit, and have the flower preservation part be a social enterprise/business that supports the nonprofit. If anyone has experience doing this, and is willing to share any tips or lessons learned, please reach out to me!!

Whether you’ve donated flowers, purchased flowers, had your flowers preserved, or are just here for the pretty pictures, thanks for supporting this journey to squeeze as much good as possible out of God’s gift of flowers 💐
