ICCF Community Homes was excited to be selected as a 2026 AARP Community Challenge grant recipient from AARP Livable Communities and AARP Michigan!

We’re incredibly proud to receive this investment to help make our community more livable for people of all ages. With this grant, residents of Southgate Senior Living were able to install raised garden beds providing residents with access to fresh grown foods and opportunities to connect deeper with their neighbors.

Meet James, a resident of Southgate Senior Living. Since these garden beds were introduced, he’s shared that the community feels “electric” with new opportunities for connection, conversation, and growing together.
