- Weapons classes, private classes upon request:
* Basic Fundamentals of Pistol shooting;
* CPL Certification courses;
* Tactical Shooting skills with movement.
- Self Defense classes:

Erik Nielsen is the owner and founder of Strike First Protection. His background is in weapons and defensive tactics as well as personal/executive protection services. Erik is an 22+ year veteran of the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC), with 20 of those years on the Emergency Response Team (ERT). He has worked at a Maximum Security prison for 20 of the 24+ years working for the DOC. With more than 20 years training for the department, he is a master trainer for the State and ERT. Those areas include: Weapons (Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun), Defensive Tactics, Use of Force and Arrest Law with extensive background and experience in training. Erik has been the MDOC's Emergency Response Team state commander now for 5+ years. Erik is a certified and credentialed, Executive Protection Agent. Some of the high profile protection details he has written and served on were for 2 different Governor's of the State of Michigan as well as the Attorney General and Secretary of State. Erik has a loving and supportive family consisting of a wife and two young daughters. His wife is also a vital part of the business working as the marketing Vice President. In his free time, Erik enjoys spending time competing in weapon shooting contests, exercising, boating, and outdoor activities with his family.
