Saving Argo Dog Rescue

Our family was contacted almost 2 months ago about a pit bull puppy that needed to be rehomed immediately. Not wanting the pup to end up in another bad situation we intervened and he’s been with us ever since.
We were told Loki was a backyard breeder’s leftovers, picked up by a family ill equipped to take on a fearful puppy. We’ve helped him with building confidence, house training, had him fully vetted and neutered. Loki has joined us on countless car rides, a few hikes and even a few ice cream trips, he travels so well! He’s learned how to eat with the pack and always waits so patiently for his bowl. Our pups love him and I think they’ve been a big part of his healing. But now it’s time for him to find a new home. He still carries some scars of his short but sad previous life but I know the right home could continue to help him grow and heal.
Loki will need a home without small children. He is great with older children and dogs but based on his past experience, he is terrified of young children.
Loki has a lot of love to give, he adores my daughter and wants nothing more than a warm lap to snuggle up on but he is still learning to trust people after all he’s been through so patience is very important.
If you think you can offer Loki the home he needs please reach out, as much as we adore him and want to offer him all the time he needs, we have a 7 year old and regardless of how hard we’ve tried Loki is terrified of him and we’ve hit a wall with training.
We would love to find an experienced pit bull owner who can really help Loki overcome his fears, if you think that might be you please reach out.
Thank you so much friends, please feel free to share 🐾

This is NOT a Saving Argo dog, I have not met this dog and am not involved in the adoption, just sharing for someone who needs some help.
Please contact Chris Shears directly with any inquiries: [email protected]
She’s located in Cedar Springs, MI.
Thank you rescue friends🐾
This is Chris’ message:
Meet Sadie Sue, as most of you know her and her story but for those who do not, here is a shorter version of her story.
Sadie Sue came to rescue/ surrender November 27th 2019 with a prolapse v***a. She went into surgery to hopefully fix her prolapse and get everything back in place. After a few weeks of recovery she healed amazingly and the vet is very happy with how she is doing.
I planned on keeping Sadie as a part of the farm, but due to some life changes she is now up for adoption.
Sadie is a 2 year old Boxer mix, she is fixed, microipped, updated on shots and deworming.
Sadie has been exposed to other dogs, cats and livestock. She does like to chase the cats here and there, but with a firm NO she stops. She can get mouthy with livestock but she just needs some reassurance to get her to stop. She has been doing great with her training and very smart. Sadie is full of energy!!! She is not always a couch potato so she needs a nice roomy yard to run.
Sadie's adoption requirements consist of:
Must own a home, NO APARTMENTS
Vet References
High Energy Dog experience
Must love a 50 pound white lap dog and a 50 pound cuddle buddy at night
Must have toys that squeak and good bones to chew on
Would reccomend no little humans as she is still learning how to be around kids as she has never been around them before.
Patience!!! Sadie has had a rough past but is overcoming a lot. She is being socialized regularly in public but needs more time with men.
If you feel you could give Sadie the perfect FUREVER home please send us a message on why you would make a perfect fit❤
Adoption Fee will be discussed upon approval of serious adoption.
