Here in Michigan we had our first ❄️snow❄️ yesterday! It’s already gone this afternoon, but it’s a stark reminder that the garden season is winding down for this year! These are a few things to help you get things in order in your garden before our more significant snow falls.

It might be a rainy day in October but the gardens are still producing as they wind down for the season.
In the last week there have been plentiful peppers 🫑, some final tomatoes 🍅 and plenty of fresh herbs 🌱 to go around!
It’s a perfect time to start storing herbs for winter- frozen or dried! Basil, sage, chives, oregano and mint freeze well and make it super easy to use your home grown herbs all through the winter months. 🥶
