We recently had the pleasure of attending the TC New Tech pitch event at the City Opera House! Axios HR proudly sponsored the 2nd Place Award, and we would like to extend a huge congratulations to Blooma for earning second place. It was a fantastic opportunity to network, connect, and learn from such a talented group of individuals. We’re excited to see what these entrepreneurs will accomplish next!

We're proud to announce that our co-owner, Aida Mercado, was awarded Employee Owner of the Year by the Michigan Chapter of the ESOP Association.

Aida is a Senior Recruiter in our Holland Staffing Inc Office. She started as a Spanish Translator for the company in 1997 and worked her way up through various roles in the organization to be where she is today.

Aida leads by example and acts like an owner. She takes pride in her branch office and quality of work which encourages other owners to do as well. She is the voice and pillar of our ownership culture. She lives by our core values and is not afraid to hold all owners accountable to those values. She is great at promoting the ESOP to new hires and fellow owners at meetings, in owner-to-owner conversations and to our clients, Aida has been and continues to be a mentor to many fellow owners. She understands the value that an ESOP minded company brings to client service.

Aida’s colleague, Karla put it best when she said; “Aida is a wonderful example and inspires so many of us to be owners, Aida’s passion for work is contagious”.
