Friends, neighbors and supporters,

Today, I write you with a heart full of gratitude and pride. Over the past months, I have had the incredible privilege of knocking on 4,600 doors and speaking with thousands of wonderful people in our community. Your stories, your concerns, and your hopes have deeply inspired me. Together, we brought attention to serious public safety risks that cannot be ignored. Our campaign was not just about winning an election; it was about making our township a safer and better place for everyone.

I am immensely proud of the campaign we ran. It was the best campaign ever conducted in a township in Kent County. We were a part of something bigger, and while our attempt was a victim of a larger wave nationally, our message resonated, and our efforts will not be in vain.

To my supporters, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your dedication, your passion, and your belief in our cause have been the driving force behind this campaign. Though we did not achieve the outcome we hoped for, our journey together has been invaluable.

I will be taking some time away to reflect and recharge. For those who hosted large signs, the campaign will be by tomorrow to collect them. For those with small signs, you can recycle them or set them along the side of your house and the campaign will collect them in a day or two.
