Beehive Corner

It was so much fun teaching this Beginner Watercolor class to 16 budding artists at the Allendale Township Library! We learned some painting techniques, a few types of brush strokes and went on to paint a colorful trio of fall pumpkins.

October theme is Portraits. While these aren't self portraits, or anyone in particular they were fun to create!

After traveling to Nova Scotia last month it's been fun painting some of the beautiful things we saw. This is the Lighthouse at Peggys Cove. The rocks are definately challenging. Here's a photo I took and two attempts made.

Taught a really fun class this week. We did a wet-on-wet technique to create tulip fields. So much fun and they were already talking about when we could do a class together again!
