We are honored to share that the Muskegon Museum of Art has received an AIA Michigan Building Award.

Working alongside Boston-based lead designer, Annum Architects, MMA partnered closely with the museum on a 26,000 SF expansion that doubled the size of the facility, creating new space for changing exhibits, education, collections storage, and enhanced visitor amenities.

Now complete, the transformed Muskegon Museum of Art stands as both a vibrant cultural landmark for Muskegon and a nationally recognized example of what a leading-edge institution can look like in a uniquely American mid-sized city.

We’re excited to share that Mariela is returning to MMA! After spending last summer with us as an intern, Mariela has completed her degree at Purdue University and is officially joining us as a full-time Interior Designer.

During her time in the office last summer, she brought a thoughtful, organized approach to every project, which made a lasting impression on our team. As our interiors group grows, we’re excited to have Mariela contributing her perspective, creativity, and care to the work we do every day.
