ITP (immune thrombocytopenia) is a rare platelet disorder. Thanks to plamsa donations, people with ITP can live a happier healthier life. September is ITP awareness month and we would like to say thank you to our donors that gives so much for those in need!

A message from our ADOQ:

I’ve dedicated 34 years working in the plasma industry telling everyone I can that plasma saves lives. Many medications, treatments and vaccines are manufactured from plasma. Many looked at me like I was crazy and said ugly things like “ I would never do that, nothing but drunks and drug addicts donate to get money.” I would always explain that it’s not true Plasma centers are regulated by the FDA and other governing parties. Not just anyone can come in and donate. But many remain ignorant and didn’t even attempt to find out more information. We don’t accept anyone that doesn’t have proper identification, proof of residency and everyone has to meet the medical screening requirements each and every time they come in to donate. Did anyone care or even know that blood banks who are thought to be so reputable and accepted by all harvest plasma from every unit of blood that they collect? They then turn around and sell it to companies like mine CSLPLASMA. Maybe now that all of these well-known faces are saying positive things about plasma donation more people will understand what I’ve been trying to get across for years “plasma saves lives” it’s the miracle that we’re looking for to fight this deadly disease COVID-19. I’m hoping that you will share this with everyone you know. You will start seeing these commercials aired on Fox TV starting next week. If I sound a little angry I guess I am just a bit. I’ve always been proud of my job and now I’m even more proud that this is the career that I chose.
