I’ve been in the aquarium hobby since 2015. The passion began for me with a 29-gallon freshwater aquarium with tetras, which quickly turned into a cichlid tank. I then upgraded to a 100-gallon African Cichlid tank. Shortly thereafter this led to the breeding of cichlids and I had a total of 21 aquariums all throughout my fish room. I’ve kept planted tanks as well with some success but my real pass

New DIY gravity fed carbon reactor. Using this will force all of the water from your tank through the carbon. Simply connect it to your bulkhead. I have cut up mesh filter sock into circles and will put it in between the pvc tube and elbow to hold the carbon in. You could also use large pore filter pad. Feel free to copy this simple design or create your own! Inspired after the rottertube.
