đź’„CERTIFIEDđź’„
I’ve always did my best to make moves on the low, until I reach the end goal. This took a year to get through. My second makeup artist certification. Trends are ever changing, but technique keeps you strong. I do what I do, because I love it. My goal is to always continue to peruse my passions and love in the arts.

🚨RANT ALERT🚨
Over the years of working as a , I’ve meet other makeup artist. Many I’ve learned from and was inspired by. I want to give a huge shout out to .bankhead who has always been an inspiration to me. Working in this field, you have to be very diligent about your products and keep them clean at all times, especially after .
It is amazing how many are out there and are very careless with their products and brushes. Shame on them. I am neurotic and OCD and take things to an extreme, but common cleanliness should at least be a basic habit and standard for yourself as a professional.
I’ve seen makeup artist pull brushes out of their purses and use them on clients. I’ve also seen MUA use the same brush, without cleaning them in between clients, on several clients in one event. I’ve seen makeup artist not wash their hands or sanitize. I’ve seen makeup artist use dirty makeup. I’ve seen makeup artists use dirty sponges. I’ve seen makeup artist use the wand of a mascara instead of a disposable. I mean the things I’ve seen is mind blowing. Answer me this, how can you use dirty products on your clients, and be okay about it?
I can understand little things that the client might not notice, but what I don’t understand is how does a client allow the makeup artist to use dirty product on their face.
To all my clients and any future clients. I implore you to ask me any questions about my cleaning process of my products. To any client out there, that doesn’t like my work or doesn’t want to pay for it, I also implore you to ask whoever you do hire, about their cleaning and sanitizing process. Pay a little extra for better quality. This is your face. You will thank me in the long run.
I’m just in disbelief of how gross and careless makeup artist out there… I’m done ranting. Lol

If there is anything you should know about me as a makeup artist, is my love for skin care. I truly believe, taking care of yourself starts inside and working your way out. Having good skin makes all makeup applications flawless.
On todays edition, I have just purchased a bunch of OLEHENRIKSEN] products. I prepared for any skin type my skin my go through for the year! Haha, just kidding… well, not really. I find myself coming back to these products. They are in my personal and professional kit. Do I love every product they come out with, ehhh. However, overall, I do love most of them.
I can’t stress enough, to anyone, to take care of “your skin” and it goes beyond just sunscreen. Like anyone else, I am aging and so is my skin. It changes through out the year, and I’m aware. With that being said, I need to adjust my routine accordingly.
Also, don’t forget to drink water! Hydrate! Hydrate! Hydrate!!! Lol 🌊🌊🌊🌊
Please, if you have any questions, leave them in the comments below. It’s my job to help in any way I can!!!
