Hey students! I have some good and bad news. Bad news first: I'm sad to say that I will not be teaching at Fannin next year. Good news: I'll still be in many of your classrooms because I'll be traveling around to several GPISD schools to support your teachers. The idea is that I'll help support your ELA teachers to write even more meaningful, engaging, and effective lessons. Ultimately, my job is still to serve you and help you become the best you can be; it'll just look a little differently this year. Exciting news: I may be able to see some of you who have moved on to high school in passing next year!
I've had a lot of fun with you, and I'll definitely miss you. However, I'm not saying goodbye--just see ya soon!
I sincerely hope you've had the best summer ever. During my summer, I've been busy attending weddings, visiting family and friends, resting, vacationing, studying, and working (only a little). :) Please leave a comment and let me know what you've been up to! See ya soon!

I am so pumped about tomorrow, 7th graders. We have worked very hard on our writing this year, and tomorrow you get to show how much improvement you've made. I'm proud to be your teacher! Remember: you get to use the dictionary, so USE IT! :)
