The purpose of the Law Enforcement Explorer Program is to educate and involve the youth in police operations, interest them in law enforcement careers, and provide a positive interaction with law enforcement. This involvement develops knowledge of police procedures and establishes an awareness of the complexities of police service. The primary objective of the Law Enforcement Explorer Program is to further the Explorer's education, encourage the Explorer's participation in a rewarding and productive activity, and prepare the Explorers for future roles as leaders in the community.
