Earlier tonight I learned our friend Jack Wenk passed away. Jack was a true original in the Texas world of Air-cooled Volkswagens. This picture is from the May 9th Dubsplash show in Texas. We were honored to give Jack the 3rd ever Dubsplash life time achievement award at the event. Personally, Jack was always honest and good to me whenever I went to his shop Black Gold. This man ran some amazing events and built some insane cars through out his lifetime. One could only wish to have his detail when building a VW! Rest in peace Jack! You will be missed.
