Well, the joke has gone on far too long. Although we wish our post was true, unfortunately, it is not. I’m not sure how to say this…we are extremely humbled by the amount of support we still have after a year of us closing our doors. Tomorrow marks one year since we closed. Much love to everyone and we are sorry for the let down. We love you all. Keep pushing and creating. ❤️ till next year.

🚨EMERSON SKATEPARK APPROVED🚨
We are excited to announce that Emerson skatepark was approved for the 2024 budget.
Thank you for all of the support from the foundation members who were diligently there volunteering their time. Thank you to the city staff who helped us push for the project to get done. To the skatepark community members who participated in surveys, public input, and supporting this project. 🙏👊
The skatepark is approved but the work has just begun. Members of the Grand Valley Community Skate Foundation will be doing updates and pop ups for fund raising for the park. We appreciate anyone who wants to help volunteer or help push our cause. If you have a rad spot to pop up or want to collab, let us know!!! Till then, will be breaking ground in early 2024 between February-April. Updates will be posted soon.
In case anyone was wondering or cares, the pic was taken of our first walk through at Emerson in early 2022. 🔥🔥🔥 Much love, we’ve all waited a loooong time for this. ❤️🛹

🚨 OPENING THIS WEEKEND 🚨
The crews down at Long Family Memorial have been working hard putting this newly renovated skatepark together.
It has been awesome being a part of helping the skate and wheel community to get this park renovated. It’s been long over due. We helped get the County to approve the budget to replace the entire park.
Although we were not directly involved in the design, the community survey that was sent out earlier this year was taken into consideration when designing it.
Lastly, for those who don’t know, we are a part of a collective group of individuals who advocate for our wheel community. This group consists of skaters, bikers, business owners, and enthusiasts who volunteer their time to make these things come to fruition. This group is called Grand Valley Community Skate Foundation (GVCSF). That being said, if you have any concerns about the park, please feel free to voice your opinion to us in a DM. We will relay the message to the correct source. This helps streamline the process for things to be addressed and fixed in the future.
Anyways, please take care of this park. If you see someone messing around, please say something. Take pictures, if need be. Vandalism should not be tolerated. We will not be getting a new park here for a LONG time. Take pride in your community. Skateparks are for the kids and shredding.
Be on the lookout for pop-ups and events from MF and GVCSF in the future to help fund raise for future skateparks in the area.

🚨SAVE THE DATE!!! RENOVATION OF LONGS MEMORIAL SKATE PARK COMING SOON!!!🚨
Mesa County and American Ramp Company are coming together on July 10th from 5-6:30pm at the Grand Mesa Shelter at Longs Memorial Park for community input for the redesign and renovation of the current skate park near Central High School.
This has been a long time in the works and we hope you all can come to give your thoughts on how to improve the park for it’s future riders.
Please share this post any way you can so that we are getting our opinions out there to ARC to start designing the park. If you don’t show, you don’t get. Thank you all and hope to see you there! 🛹
