A big congratulations to student Sarala Pandey, alumna Ashley Bryant, and their faculty adviser, Dr. Cristina Oancea, Associate Professor at , for presenting their research at the 2026 Society for Epidemiologic Research (SER) Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, last week!

Their research explored the impact of cardiovascular disease on cancer screening and the relationship between health status and HIV-related risk behaviors among U.S. adults—advancing our understanding of critical public health challenges.
