Most people will experience anxiety and/or depression at some point.
Not because you’re broken.
Not because you’re failing.
But because your nervous system is doing what it was designed to do:
keep you alive.
Anxiety is activation—
too much, too fast.
Your system trying to move, fix, prepare, protect.
Depression is shutdown—
too little, too long.
Your system conserving when it’s been too much for too long.
The problem isn’t that you feel either one.
The problem is when your body gets stuck…
or starts ping-ponging between them…
and you can’t find your way back to calm + alive.
And if that’s you right now—please hear this:
You don’t need more pressure.
You don’t need to “try harder.”
You need resources… so your system has options beyond survival.
If you’re ready for support that feels safe, we’d love to help.
Visit LevelUpMHC.com to learn more.
If this landed for you, save it for the days you feel stuck—and share it with someone who needs it.

We have been nearly bursting at the seams keeping this to ourselves…
Dr. Aimie Apigian is coming to Level Up MHC!
She will be personally training our therapists on deeper content from The Biology of Trauma—in a way that applies directly to the populations we serve and the work we do here in our community.
And she has also graciously offered to host a casual book signing at Level Up MHC—open to the public.
Bring your friends. Bring your curiosity. We’d love to see you.
