After always calling Michigan home, for Steve and Krista, relocating to Granbury in 2010 was a dream come true. While Steve was born and raised in Flint, MI, Krista also called Flint home but had lived in Granbury for 7 years when she was a child. Wanting to provide better opportunities for their 3 children, to live in a thriving community, (and wanting to experience the Texas heat!) moving was a
n easy decision. With over 23 years experience in the Electrical Field, Steve brings youth, knowledge, passion, and training into every job he takes on. After going through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers training program and apprenticeship course, he became a licensed Journeyman Electrician in 2002. In 2008, Steve became a Master Electrician and received his Contractor’s License all in the state of Michigan. Also, in 2008, Steve traveled to Washington where he took more classes and worked under the Washington state code and obtained his License in the state of Washington. He traveled often to where there was work to provide for his family. Once The Streeter’s relocated to Texas, they immediately decided to pursue their dream of owning a business and opened Streeter Electric. In 2010, Steve took the state test in Texas to obtain his Master's License. While Steve brings the knowledge in the Electrical field, Krista uses her experience in Marketing, Advertising, Sales, and Networking to make this duo a power team. Using their drive, motivation, determination, confidence, and expertise, Streeter Electric is one of the fastest growing Electrical Contractors in the area. They are proud to have been named Runner-Up in the Hood County’s Best after only 1 year in Granbury and was voted Runner-Up 2011-2016.
