⚠️💧❄️MIDWEEK WINTER STORM ❄️💧⚠️

The threat of a WINTER STORM impacting Michiana midweek is increasing. Rain looks like it will develop late Wednesday and continue Wednesday night. The melting snow, frozen ground, and heavy rainfall could lead to flooding. As colder air filters into Michiana, the rain will turn to a wintry mix, and eventually to all snow Thursday. Heavy snowfall will be possible. The placement of the cold front and track of the storm system will determine the precipitation types and amounts.

⚠️ 💨 WINDY ADVISORY will be in effect for much of Michiana on Wednesday. Expect a west wind at 15 to 25 mph. Wind gusts could be over 45 mph. The strong winds could cause blowing snow across parts of Berrien and Cass Co., MI.

A WIND ADVISORY will be in effect for Michiana from 7AM to 5PM Saturday. Expect a sustained west wind at 20-30 mph. Wind gusts could be as high as 50 mph. The wind gusts on Saturday could be as strong the strongest wind gusts from the storms Friday night!
