SOAZ Volunteers

Volunteers are ready to kick off one of the first competitions of the season with Special Olympics Arizona! Today we have Mountain area and Palo Verde area swim competitions. Good luck swimmers and thank you volunteers!

Are you wanting to volunteer with Special Olympics but don't want to serve alone? Register as a group! First, find a shift that works for you + your sibling/bff/coworker/acquaintance's schedule, then email us over at [email protected] to get yourself registered! If you let us know the number of slots, and your preferred shift time/date we can take it from there!

Corporations, we want to work with you as well! Let us know when you want to come serve and we will save you as many spots as you need!

Looking for ways to stay connected with Special Olympics throughout the summer? Consider becoming a coach! Class A Volunteers and Coaches do not need any prior knowledge of adaptive sports rules (it will all be taught to you don't worry!), just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn! Looking to get more involved with our organization for the Fall 2024-2025 tournament cycle? Become a Coach! Coaches work one-on-one with our athletes, and provide crucial support to the work that we do! Coaches do not need to have any prerequisite knowledge of adaptive sports rules- they just need to have a positive attitude and the ability to commit to a few weeks of consistent practice.
